Training Program Promotional Video

The Challenge: A new training program was launching to support staff through a major organizational change initiative. While the content itself was robust, early feedback showed low awareness and a lack of enthusiasm. Leaders needed a way to build interest, communicate the value of the training, and drive uptake—without relying on text-heavy emails or dry announcements.

The Concept: I created a short, animated explainer video in Vyond to generate buzz around the training rollout. The video used storytelling, light humor, and brand-consistent visuals to quickly explain what the training was, why it mattered, and how to access it.

To keep things engaging, I introduced a “desk monster”—a quirky animated character representing common workplace frustrations and change fatigue. The monster served as a visual metaphor for the barriers the new training aimed to overcome, helping staff relate to the message in a fun, memorable way.

My Role: I led scriptwriting and core messaging to ensure content was clear, concise, and aligned with learning goals. I translated scripts into detailed storyboards and visual design plans, then developed and edited animations using Vyond to bring key concepts to life. I also directed voiceover production and synchronized audio with visuals to create a polished, engaging experience. Throughout the process, I partnered with stakeholders for review and feedback, incorporating revisions and managing final delivery of the completed asset.
