About me

Hi! I’m Olivia—an instructional designer and learning experience professional based in the DC area, with a background in organizational science and psychology. I specialize in designing clear, engaging, and accessible learning solutions that help people perform at their best—especially within complex, policy-driven, and large-scale environments.

I bring over five years of experience supporting Federal and public-sector clients, partnering closely with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to translate technical and operational content into learner-friendly training experiences. My work spans end-to-end instructional design, from needs and learner analysis through development, implementation, and continuous improvement. I’ve led the development of scalable, SCORM-compliant eLearning and learning assets that support large, distributed audiences—reaching tens of thousands of learners annually in both English and Spanish.

My approach is grounded in adult learning principles, accessibility (Section 508), and usability. I focus on understanding learner needs and performance gaps through interviews, surveys, and data analysis, then applying instructional and UX best practices to improve clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.

Beyond eLearning, I’ve contributed to leadership development initiatives, competency-based tools, onboarding resources, and workforce development programs that align learning strategies with organizational goals.

When I’m not designing or refining learning experiences, you’ll usually find me exploring the DC area or spending time with my two dogs, Rufus and Mochi.
