The Challenge:
French Bulldog owners are passionate, loyal, and a little obsessed—and with good reason. But despite the breed’s popularity, there’s no single space where Frenchie people can connect, trade tips, plan meetups, or just share pictures of their little loafs. Most rely on scattered Facebook groups, outdated forums, or Reddit threads. We wanted to build something better: a dedicated community app made just for Frenchie owners.
The Concept
Frenchie Friends is a social platform built for French Bulldog lovers. Think of it as part local meetup board, part breed-specific knowledge hub, and part adorable photo feed.
Whether someone’s looking for advice on managing their Frenchie’s allergies, organizing a “Frenchie brunch” in Central Park, or finding a reputable vet familiar with the breed’s quirks, Frenchie Friends offers a space to connect and share.
Key Features
Frenchie Feed: A curated social timeline full of community posts, questions, and photos.
Local Snort-ups: Geolocation-powered event planning to help Frenchie parents meet IRL.
Vet & Trainer Finder: A community-reviewed directory focused on breed-savvy professionals.
"Snort Score": A playful engagement metric based on post likes and community involvement.
The Look & Feel
We wanted Frenchie Friends to feel joyful and friendly. The iconography was rounded, minimal, and a little goofy—just like the dogs. The color pallet was inspired by Mochi and Rufus’s attire.
